6 BENEFITS OF EXERCISE YOU DIDN’T KNOW: HEALTHY & FIT IN 2018
About a month ago I featured a post on my blog about The Ultimate Pre & Post Workout Guide. In that post, we highlighted how important it is to have an all-around wellness mindset and how the things you do before and after a workout impact your overall fitness outcome. Today, we are continuing with a superb guest post on the 6 BENEFITS OF EXERCISE YOU DIDN’T KNOW. So without further ado…….
It can be tough to find time for exercise every day. But when you read the benefits listed below, I’m sure I’ll be able to convince you to exercise once a day!
Here are a few benefits of exercise I’m sure you didn’t know.
BOOSTS YOUR MENTAL HEALTH:
Most people put all their focus on cardiovascular exercises and their weight loss. So much so that they don’t focus on other benefits that we get with exercise.
Studies show that people who are physically active have better brain oxygenation and better brain activity patterns when compared to people who don’t exercise. Your exercise does not have to be any hardcore activity like hiking or going to the gym, it can also be as simple as taking a walk each day or doing yoga. Exercise has been linked to lower the rates of depression and anxiety as well.
SLOWS DOWN AGING:
We all have heard this so many times that exercise can make you look and feel younger. It can help you with your sleep, help you to be more flexible, and lower the risk of many diseases.
Exercise increases your cellular energy productions, and this is the process by which new mitochondria forms in the cells. Mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell, which means, it adds to increase the overall energy and helps in stopping aging.
GIVES YOU BETTER SKIN:
Exercise increases the circulation and blood flow to your skin, which means you get a dose of oxygen and nutrients. This helps in healing wounds and also helps to make your overall skin health better.
To improve your skin, you should focus on training with your bodyweight and your muscles. By increasing lean muscle mass that you have under the surface of your skin, you can make your skin appear tighter and lifted.
YOU CAN STAY FIT:
It doesn’t take a lot of time to stay fit with exercise. It just requires some hard work, and of course, a good diet to take care of you.
Regular exercise is very good for your body and it keeps you healthy. It helps you to tone your muscle and increase your metabolism.
RECOVER FROM DISEASES:
There are a lot of people who say that those who are suffering from some disease should not exercise, however, this is not true. Exercise should be a crucial part of the treatment because it leads to speedy and successful recovery.
Exercise also helps people who have joint pain and weak bones, and is a significant factor in treating depression and anxiety.
SHRINKS YOUR FAT CELLS:
One of the benefits of consistent exercise is that your body starts to lose fat. Intensive training causes structural and chemical changes to the DNA molecules present in our muscles. This contraction leads to genetic reprogramming of muscle for strength. Other genes affected by intense exercise get involved in fat metabolism.
A Study suggests that when you are engaged in high-intensity exercises, your body immediately experiences genetic changes and increases the production of fat-busting proteins.
